Trend Tale : Ghagra

This festive season Ghagra is the showstopper. Celebs were seen wearing it on and off screen through this year, but now Ghagra is in the fashion peak! Thanks to Mr Bansali for his Raam-Leela :) And kudos to the designer of the film Anju Modi . Actually the promos of the film caught my eyes and I initially thought of writing a post on the color "red" because the color of passion, love and festival is present all over the trailers. As the Durga puja is over in Bengal I have seen a lot of use of red, in the pandals, in Maa Durga's saree, in "sindoor khela". But no that's not the topic of this post! Coming back to the point, after watching the promos I was so inspired by those wonderfully gorgeous and traditional ghagras that I decided to do this post. After a little research I have found some of the best Ghagras on silver screen and on red carpet. At the end of this post I will give some links of online stores where they sell similar ghagras or make replicas of them. So that any pretty girl anywhere in India (or outside) can have a chance to look like a diva <3

On Screen: A song was made on this glamorous garment .

One of my another favorite Ghagra is from the Student of the Year.

Now lets come to the newest . These ghagras of Raamleela are breath taking and traditional, The fashion world is also going gaga over Ghagras which are different than before of their color, fabric and presentation.

Kareena's ghagra here (GTPM)  is more bollywood, but with the simple white one with yellow dupatta she marks her place !

 Off Screen:
These are few of my favorite ghagras seen off-screen. When I saw Dipi on this one, I was like WTH It's soo chic, specially the high neck choli! If u are a Bridesmaid steal the show with this!

Sonam at Cannes Film Festival. This one lookes like a gown. lovely indeed :)

Sabyasachi magic on Vidya Balan !

These lat two ghagras are soo pretty that I would definitely like to wear them, if i could, lol :P

These are the sites where Gorgeous Ghagras can be found :)
1. (Replicas of on screen and off-screen ghagras. Affordable price.)
2. Bollywood Replica  (a store on facebook)
3. (not replicas, but gorgeous ghagras just a click away)

Hope You like this post :) Let me know if you buy anything new :) And watch Raam-Leela. I'll be in the first show on 15th Nov, who wants to miss a chance to see such wonderful creations!

Thanks a lot for reading :)
